Wedding photographer's charge high prices for taking pictures, especially of weddings. My niece paid $1200 for her wedding pictures. The photographer has usually a set fee they require to take the picture and then you can select what you want in pictures - quantity, album, size, etc. and reduce the output you would have to pay them. Check around tho.

It depends on how well known the photographer is and how much experience he or she has. You can expect to spend anywhere from $1,500 on a small package that doesn't come with many prints, to over $5,000. If your wedding is out of town, expect to pay more.
