It really depends on where you live. In the Northeast and California probably around $150. 00 and in other places probably around $50 to $100. Of course, more if you are going with a guest.

It really depends on where you live. If it a very high end city, then the average is around $100 per person ($200 a couple). However, if you live in a city like mine (rural) we saw gifts ranging anywhere from $25 to $50.

If it is for a close relative or friend, then give at least $50. 00, and for a semi-friend you should give no more than $25. 00.
