Arguments in favor are often couched in terms of learning about and correcting genetic problems. Those against often talk about the problem of "designer babies," personal identity, and possibly nefarious economic motivations for cloning.

People who are in support of cloning claim that it allows scientists to further genetic research and help find cures for diseases. People who are against cloning are often religious and say that it is unnatural and against the will of God. They believe scientists shouldn't be able to create people or animals in test tubes.
