What are the alternate names for the seasons of the year?

The official names are Prevernal, Vernal, Estival, Serotinal, Autumnal, and Hibernal. These are mostly named for regions of temperature. There are also other cultures that celebrates seasons as a solstice.

As far as I'm aware, "autumn" instead of "fall" is the only legitimate alternate name used frequently enough to justify mentioning. There may be some lower-key alternate names for summer, spring, and winter out there, but I have never heard any of them in my lifetime. I hope that helps.
