There are so many ideas that can be used for a small room. It can be used for crafts and arts if you are into it. An entertainment room for games or movies or if you have kids it can be a play room for them to keep them busy.

You can use this as a toy storage room, an exercise room, a sewing room, a pantry, a spare bedroom or a prayer room. You could modularize it with some shelvign and make it general household storage. You can knock down the wall and make the room beside it larger.
