The fermented beverages include beer, wine, sake, liquor, and hard cider. Bread is basically flour that has been fermented, leavened, using yeast. Yogurt, buttermilk, most kinds of cheese, and kefir are also fermented, cultured. So are sauerkraut, many kinds of pickles, and kimchee. Olives are also fermented, when they're cured.
