right now for easter, there are some great crystal egg and religious decorations that are found in Craten Barrel stores. Handmade Easter decorations you can buy at Craft stores like JoAnn Fabrics, or you can make your own holiday decorations. Download craft ideas from Good Housekeeping, or Martha Stewart. Making homemade chocolates and designing summer squash is another idea.

A great Christmas decoration is to take a clear plastic round food container, wrap with red cellophane, twist ends like a giant candy and secure with ribbon.

It's nice to have something in all parts of the house and not just on the tree. Poisentias or gold stars or anything particularly red or green is great.

Winter holidays can take advantage of outdoor items that you find in nature. If you can gather pine cones or interesting branches from the area around your home a nice grouping of them in a vase or platter is ver attractive.
