I had a dog named Jedediah. It seemed like a unique name. I also have named dogs after Shakespeare characters. I'd watch my puppy for a few days and his antics determined which character fit his personality.

Frosty might work well for a dog that is white or fluffy. Prancy for one that prances around when walking.
