I have several favorite names for female dogs, but my narrowed list includes Cleo, Ava, Bardot, Pepper, Queenie, Governor, Patra, Foxy, Roz, Lily, Greta, Jillian, Hero, Sadie, Evie, and Gertie.

A good female dog name could come from personality, maybe Princess. Then again you could take a name from its fur color, maybe if shes brown name her Cocoa or Brownie.

There are several popular dog names for furry female friends. They are Lexie,Precious, Madison, Jilly, and Cassie. Family names are sometimes used as well. There are no rules, whatever seems to fit your little girl will work just fine.

When naming a dog you must consider the breed, appearance, unique habits and size. Some names I like are Sheba, Cookie, Tasha, Sugar, Dolly and Raven.

Princess, daisy, those are two of the most common but sometimes it depends on the breed of the dog and if you want an authentic name do a net search.
