Something that I have seen work wonders is to simply place a clean paper towel each night on your pillow when you go to sleep. The paper towel absorbs any oils or bacterias, and can clear your skin in about two weeks.

The first key is to wash with warm water to open pores, and rinse with cold to shrink them. Make sure to moisterize as many prodcuts work by drying out acne. Some great natural remedies to try are tea tree oil, aloe vera, honey, a lemon and sugar mix, or salt water.

A little lemon juice diluted with warm water and used as a cleanser will help a greasy skin. Alternatively whisk up an egg white till frothy and add a little fresh lemon juice to make a refreshing face pack.

To wash and moisturize your face, try using olive oil--even if your skin is oily! Honey and crushed aspirin makes a good mask for acne-prone skin.

Toothpaste can be used to clear up acne. Putting the toothpaste on the head of the pimple and leaving it on over night will allow the pimple to dry out. You can also use rubbing alcohol which is essentially what is used in face washes. Eating less chocolate can help keep a clearer face.

The best thing you can do for yourself is to wash your face with a mild soap and rinse well with clear water. Don't scrub your face with a cloth. Next, watch your diet, refrain from fatty/sugary foods, and use a good B Complex vitamin supplement like stress tabs.

Wash face morning & evening with mild soap (Ivory/Dove). Don't touch face repeatedly, particularly hands are not clean. If you have acne, visit a dermatologist (skin doctor).

The most important thing is to make sure your face is clean. You can use a mild soap and astringent, such as witch hazel. Witch hazel is inexpensive and works great to cleanse the skin mildly.

One great home solution is to use Witch Hazel as an astringent. This will help remove excess oil and keep poors unclocked.

You don't need to invest in expensive treatments - use a simple soap like Ivory with no perfumes. Wash and rinse thoroughly and then moisturize. Do this twice daily.

I have always had great success using Dove bar soap to wash my face. It sounds old-fashioned but their soap is perfect for faces! And moisturize if you need to.

To start, make sure you wash your face with normal soap gently once or twice a day and don't scrub or overwash. You specific breakouts, you can apply toothpaste to the pimple to dry it out. Some also have success combining citrus fruit rind peels with water as an astringent.
