You need a car to travel to most places, so finding a hotel that allows you to walk to restaraunts and shops is ideal. Tiger Tail is your best bet for the beach, as it is less crowded. For shopping, Miramar Outlet offers a lot in one stop.

Suntan oil with a good sunscreen is required! You can get to Ft. Myers Beach from Bonita Beach Road. Dollar Car Rentals at the Fort Myers Airport is recommended.

There are a lot of walking and hiking places. Take proper footwear ie. running shoes. You may want to bring warm clothes because the weather will be very enjoyable. Take some shorts and polos. It's also a nice place to take out the kids. So you do not have to worry about them becoming bored.

Make sure that you have packed some light weight clothes for this trip! It gets very warm. Also, make sure to include your sunscreen!
