What are some tips for cutting fresh mozzerella?

To cut fresh mozzarella, try a knife with a serrated blade, such as a bread knife or a boning knife. You might also try dental floss (unflavored) or wire. My favorite tool - a wire egg slicer. Of course, true gourmets prefer mozzarella whole or torn by hand rather than cut.

It will be easier to cut it into small pieces or cubes than slicing it. Use a sharp knife, and cut it immediately after taking it out of the refrigerator.
