Use as many wall-mounted products as possible in order to save on counter space. Buy a counter-depth refrigerator to save on floor space. If you have high ceilings, make use of the wall space near the ceiling - hang things rarely used up there.

Go up! If you're putting in new cabinets, have them go to the ceiling. If not, use the tops of cabinets for storing prettiest (and biggest) bowls and pans. Organize everything. Keep it clean, especially keep counter tops cleared and store things in cabinets rather than on counters. Use bright colors and clean white and bright lights.
