Since sea plants need light to grow the most common plants are found either on the surface like Phytoplankton or in fairly shallow waters like seagrass. There are about 52 species of seagrass such as eelgrass, turtle grass, star grass, paddle grass and manatee grass. These sea plants provide oxygen and shelter for small marine life and organisms.

Corral grows in the sea that is pretty to look at as well go to your fish store they will be able to tell you the different plants you can get that are sea plants.
