If you're referring to services that will help you pay off your debt, try the Consumer Counseling Credit agency. Before I went to an agency though I would try Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. The book costs as little as $10 and can truly bring financial peace to you and your family if you follow his plan.

Talk to someone at your local bank or credit union (where you are an account holder) regarding bill-paying services. Many banks offer free bill-pay as a perk of online membership.

First, check with your church and seeif debt counseling services are available. If not, get business names from the phonebook, then check online for complaints/comments. Contact the Better Business Bureau as well as the Office of Consumer Affairs-Attorney General (in your state) to make sure there aren't any unresolved complaints.

I would suggest call each creditor and see if they have any type of paymentplan. If not, look into CCCS-Non-Profit. Avoid Debt Settlement, alot of companys don't work with them.

Get someone you know to help you. You need a strong person that will set it straight and not give in. Pay off credit cards. Control spending. Cook at home.
