As you prepare to sell your home, look at it with buyer's eyes. If you can't do that, ask a friend or family member to do it for you. Declutter, remove extra furniture, spruce up the exterior, neutralize the interior and get new flooring. Freshen up throughout.

Make sure to change things out like lightbulbs, retouch any paint chips on the walls, oil any squeeky doors, repair any leaky faucets. Things that arent really harmful, but are annoying are what buyers are going to look at obssesively.
