You can't go wrong when making homemade Valentine cards. You will need some construction paper in a variety of different colors (pink, red, white), some glitter, doilies, glue, scissors, markers or crayons, and stickers. Another cute personal touch would be to include a photo of you and the person you are making the card for.

Depending on what kind of cards you want to make (and who's making them -- kids or you?), the materials will be different. For kids, all of the above plus glue, markers/crayons, even some stickers would be good. For more professional-looking cards, try cardstock and using rubber stamps.
