A good job for your nephew would be one that is repetitive. A job in a grocery store as a bagger, or some fast food restaurants would work well because they require very little training to learn how to do the job, and then consist of repeating the same tasks each day.

A lot of areas have good training programs and work placement for people with MR. See if there's one locally. Think about jobs like greeters or baggers at a stores.

It really depends on his skills and what he is capable of. He may find a janitorial type job, or perhaps yard service. Again, it really depends on his capabilities.

Working in the back of a restaurant as a dishwasher is a good start. Also, janitorial work is also a great idea.
