You could try using a pipe wrench, if that don't work try tapping the pipes with a hammer or the pipe wrench.

Use a big pipe wrench and a big strong man. If that doesn't work, tap on it all the way around to try to loosen it. It should work.

You can go back in forth with a pipe wrench to try and loosen it. Or you could spary something like WD-40 on it. Lastly, just cut it off.

There is no way to do that job the only way to do that is to cut it out and replace it.

PVC piping doesn't loosen very well because it uses a chemical glue that burns itself into the PVC when it bonds. Thus most jobs just replace it; PVC is cheap.

You cannot loosen old pvc pipe. PVC - Poly Vinyl Chloride pipe is joined using a primer and a cement. The plumbing codes refer to this as a solvent weld joint. It is permanent when made properly.

If loosen means to disassemble the only thing to do is cut the old joints. The glue used in assembly causes the mating surfaces to slightly melt and fuse together. The joint will not come apart in your grandkids lifetime!

The best thing to do is try PB Blaster and a pipe wrench. If that won't loosen it you can try a torch.
