How do you frost proof plastic piping?

We used a product called "heat tape wrap". It's easy to install and works great. You can buy it at your local home improvement store.

you can wrap with fiberglass insulation, or they sell a pipe sleeve that fits on your pipes just wrap it around and tape in place

The cheapest way to guard from light frost is probably to insulate it, perhaps with foam insulation or pipe cladding which can be found in a local hardware store.
