I think a broom that has been decorated to be used by a witch would be a good idea. Another idea would be to paint a pitchfork red to use as a tool for the devil.

Chilled spaghetti noodles work well as fake guts. Also, you can cut the corners off of trash bags, fill the tip with leaves, tie it off, and hang them from trees as ghosts. Another project idea is to make fake blood with red food coloring and any liquid- water, apple juice, ect.

A simple bed sheet turns into a ghost costume for Halloween while bowls of grapes and cooked spaghetti can make blindfolded people think they are feeling eyeballs and worms.

One idea would be an extremely oversized coat or jacket. Two people could wear the coat together and give the impression of a two headed monster. Another idea would be to take an old white sheet and cut two holes in it for your eyes. This would give the impression of a ghost.

I have a little sign I put outside my door that I bought, but you could make easily. It says "The witch is in!"
