Sure, you could also have chef hats for the guests to wear, You could also have plain aprons that people could write their name on instead of wearing name tags.

I would not play a song at the party. But if you must, you can use the hells kitchen theme. As for ideas, the tall paper hats and ask everyone to bring a unique appron. You can run a hells kitchen like theme, with people getting eliminated on head to head competitions.

Have the theme song playing in the background. Assign different aspects of the party to different "chefs", entrees, dessert, salads, etc. then judge the items.
