Yes, Lowe's does still have a program where children can go in on select saturday's and they will make a project. Usually something simple such as a bird house. Home Depot has the same program too. Check your local store for dates and times.

Both Lowe's and Home Depot have saturday classes in woodworking for children. They usually have this posted as you walk in the door. They also learn the use of tools.
