What are some good uses of boxwood hedges?

They are easy to use for topiary purposes and take pruning well. They make an excellent hedge, replacing a fence,granting some privacy between neighbors. They can add color all year, so in places where you would like some "winter" color they are good to use.

if i had to chose i would use boxwood hedges for putting in front of my house or maybe use them as a fence so the person next to me can't see every move i make
