A really sweet love song like "Everlong" (by the Foo Fighters) is the best love song out there. There are others though, such as some of Taylor Swift's music.
Personally, I think the older love songs' lyrics are simpler and more meaningful. My favorites are "The Way You Look Tonight," "You are So Beautiful," and "Unforgettable."
