What are some good hurricane watching party ideas?

Drinking or card games are always a good choice. If you loose power, either of these activities can be played with little light.

That is awesome that you would have a hurricane watching party. What else is there to do during a hurricane? I would have plenty of food on hand and maybe some cards or boardgames. If the electricity isn't out, get everyone involved in a WII game. Have fun!

Since the power might go out during the hurricane or already be out, you need party ideas that don't involve electricity. This could include acoustic music, telling ghost stories by candlelight, or shadow puppet plays on the wall. Also, for the adults, make your own hurricane cocktails!
