Some good plans are the ones that empahasize healthy eating habits instead of crash dieting. Try and strive for a balance diet like fresh frutis, vegetables, whole grains, salads, water and moderate exercise daily.
Any diet should emphasize healthy eating and include adequate amounts of vitamins, minerals and proteins. Weight Watchers is one example; the Mayo Clinic has many healthy eating suggestions as well.
The 100 mile diet is actually pretty good, because it forces you to eat products that are grown locally, which is a lot healthier for you. I wouldn't recommend any other program because it is more focused on reduction of calories through reduction of carbs, which is unhealthy.
