Where have you been going on dates? Try thinking of a gift related to what you have been doing together, or things you have been talking about: For example,if you went to a great restaurant, maybe they have shirts or memorabilia. If you've been talking sports, something team-related.

It would be appropriate to give a CD or a DVD. A gift certificate to a sports store would be nice. Nothing to expensive considering the time you dated.

Think of places you've gone on dates; a couple movie tickets or a restaurant gift card are good choices. You may also want to ask his friends what he wants.

Maybe he'd like a tool kit or some nice cologne. Maybe a cookbook if he likes to cook, or some kitchen appliances.
