Old standards still delight kids this age. Try playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey, breaking a Pinata, Hot Potato or any kind of relay.

Pin the tail on the donkey, musical chairs would be good games, not requiring a lot of effort and both are easy to understand for young children. Have fun with it.

Children love games the whole group can participate in- but are simple and easy to pick up on. For those reasons I would recommend a game like Pin the tail on the donkey or have the kids break open a pinata. I think you would have some kids who had a good time.

You could give them a pinata, play pin the tail on the donkey, tag, musical chairs, duck-duck-goose, or hide and seek. You could also get creative and make a treasure hunt or do crafts. Another option could be playing music to dance to or sing karaoke. Put on a talent show!

Water balloon games are a HUGE hit with seven year olds. They enjoy getting wet. We've modified both wiffleball and volleyball to accomodate the age group. The volleyball teams each had a sheet and 'catch' the water balloon then as a team 'throw' it back. They worked as a team AND got wet!

Drop the clothespin in the bottle: get a gallon jug and some wooden clothespins. Stand over the bottle and try to drop the clothespin into it. Donuts on a string: tie strings to powdered donuts, and hang them in a doorway. Stand under the donuts and eat them without using your hands. Messy and fun!
