Stereotyping are assumption about a person based on the category that person is in. Some examples are: Blonds are dumb. Asians are smart at Math. Blacks are good at sports. Jocks are dumb. Nerds like to play dungeons and dragons. Brazilians are sexy. New Yorkers are rude. California folks are laid back.

Some examples of stereotyping include discrimination against people in the school or workplace, such as making assumptions about a person's intelligence and/or social skills based on their race or economic background. Stereotypes aren't always negative; for example, the stereotypical Asian student is excellent in school, especially math and science.
