Neon Genesis Evangelion is an excellent anime series on DVD. The series comes in a standard box set, but it also comes with the director's cut editions of certain episodes, which is why people would buy these DVDs in the first place. The DVD set is a must-have for die-hard fans of the series.

The most iconic anime available on DVD must be the Gundam series. It was first shown on TV in 1979 and has since spawned a multitude of sequels, movies, games, and books. The anime tells the story of a groups of protagonists who pilot futuristic giant robots called Mobile Suits.

There is tons of good anime out there. However different people like different ones. My favorite anime movies include Akira, Ghost in the Shell, and Blood The Last Vampire. As for Tv show, I like Dragon Ball Z, Intial D, and Pokemon. You need to watch a variety of shows and look online to find some anime that you like.
