I will swear by soft music, candles and a hot bubble bath. Breathe slowly and deeply listening to each breath, close your eyes and enjoy.

Visualizing a relaxing and enjoyable place in your mind is a way to calm yourself physically and psychologically. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and try to imagine all of the sights, sounds, and feelings in that place. The deep breathing will also help relax you.
