Elephant ear plants are great to keep indoors, any plant is really but you should consider the fact that plants get their food from the sun, through photosynthesis - a process where plants take U. V. rays and convert them into sugar. Moreover, you have to water plants, so it might get the carpet wet.

Most species of elephant ear plants get very large. You can get some of the pygmy and more color full species from any plant nursery or home box store. Its important to give them lots of water and natural sunlight. They are a tropical plant that needs little car except for lots of water and sun.
