What are some comics based on movies?

The only two I can think of that went movie then comic are Serenity by Joss Wheaton, and Jay and Silent Bob by Kevin Smith. Most comics are turned into movies. I highly recommended the Serenity show movie and comic which tells the back story the show was unable to because they were canceled.

There are quite a few movies based on comics being released nowadays. However there aren't too many comics that are based on movies. Movie companies try to do anything not to have to generate new ideas so the retell stories of other people sometimes books and comics. Comics however strive for originality and don't follow movies..

Some movies based on comics include "Watchmen", "Spiderman" 1, 2, and 3, "Wolverine", "X-men" 1, 2 and 3, "The Mutant Chronicles", "The Incredible Hulk", "Superman" 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (though not Superman Returns). "Iron Man" 1 and 2, "The Fantastic Four" and "The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" are all based on Marvel comics.

During the past years some of the most successful movies were the ones that were based on comic books. These were Spider Man, Iron Man, Bat Man, Blade, Super Man, Fantastic Four, Punisher, Hulk, X-men, and ghost rider. There will probably be more movies that are going to be made based on comics in the near futher.

Well when it comes to movies based on comics, I would have to say that Superman and Batman would be the two movies that best fit this category. |
