A mohawk is not appropriate for school, but it of course depends how old she is. I would suggest, a straight haircut with bangs or a short one, it's very trendy right now. If she is really into mohawks, how about a really short haircut, maybe that will do it to.

Maybe your daughter would like a shorter hair style that she can play with. Think something like the pop singer Pink. She can spike it or give herself a Fauxhawk.
