The only animals that can be born through eggs are fish, birds, and reptiles. I think the only mammal that can do this is the platypus. Examples are chickens, some snakes, goldfish, robins, salmon, tail-whip lizards, etc. When the animals hatch out of the eggs, they are either cared for by the mother animal or left to fend for themselves.

Birds are born from eggs, as are Platypus, as are crocodiles, alligators, turtles, and many amphibians and reptiles. Many of these are born with a horn or "egg tooth" that enables them to break through the shell. Animals born from eggs are called oviparous. Spiders are born from eggs also!
