What are my chances of actually growing an apple tree from seeds?

I would like to start my own apple tree from seeds.

Anyone can do it. Water it at least every other day for a few years till it has a strong root system or it may die in a few weeks.

Chances are just as good as with any other seeds, but what will grow may not be true to form. The tree may not produce fruit.

It would be pretty slim to none. Experience in growing apple trees are needed. You would need to know what is the best way to care for them. Also, where would they be planted. The best thing to do may be potting them then transplanting them outside.

It depends on where you got the seeds. Seeds from grocery-bought apples will be sterile or, at best, produce a weak tree. Apples from local growers, or better yet wild apples, will be hardier, but watch out for the variety. Healthy tree with nasty-tasting apples = sad story.
