Lemurians are the human occupants of Lemuria, a land believed to have existed somewhere between the Pacific and Indian oceans but to have sunk. Most scientists do not believe that Lemuria existed since there is no geological evidence for it.

Lemuria is a mythical lost land. Lemurians are the people who would have lived on Lemuria. It is based on the belief that in ancient times, a continent that existed in the Indian and Pacific Oceans sunk.
