What are important manners to remember when I am being hosted at someone's house for a weekend visit?

Be humble and respectful to the people taking you in for the weekend. Don't act like you own their home. Ask where the bathroom is before wandering around their house trying to find one. Say please, and thank them for helping you. Keep a good attitude and be positive.

Remember to take the hosts a gift. Make your bed. Offer to help with little things at the house. Do not leave wet towel on the bed. Offer to take host out for dinner movie. DO not make incessant demands. Be nice to the kids if they have any. Treat their house like you would treat your own, with respect.
