The grounding of fluorescent lighting is no different than that of incandescent. Most fixtures provide either a ground wire/tail or a ground screw. Make sure to attach either the screw or wire to the ground wire of the circuit feeding the fixture. If no ground wire is available a minimum 10-32 screw tapped into the j-box will do.

Currently, the National Electrical Code requires that ALL fixtures be grounded regardless of type. Most fixtures have either ground tails or screws provided by the manufacturer.

The national codes state there can be no more than 8 plugs on a 15 amp circuit. But it will be useful to know the amount of current needed on a circuit. A kitchen a good example. The are toasters, blenders, electric skillets, microwave ovens, etc. All of these items working together could draw more than 15 amps.
