What are DNA, RNA and NA are, and what is the purpose of each in nature?

DNA, RNA and NA are all genetic components and are used for storing and sharing genetic information. DNA, Deoxyribonucleic acid, is the storage mechanism. RNA, Ribonucleic acid, is the copying and sharing mechanism, and NA just means nucleic acid and is the building block for these other molecules.

They stand for deoxyribonucleic acid, ribonucleic acid and nucleic acid respectively. Nucleic acids make up DNA and RNA, whose function is to provide and replicate genetic material.
