Deuteromyceti are a class of fungi that do not reproduce sexually. They are the causes of many human diseases, including Ringworm, Athletes Foot, and the infections commonly known as yeast infections. Penicillin is also made from fungi that are part of this group. This class of fungi is also known as fungi imperfecti.
