Airtime minutes are the number of minutes you spend on the phone during billable periods. This total shouldn't include the amount of time you spent during free time (like nights and weekends).

Whenever you are connected to a call (someone or something picks up after dialing) you are using an airtime minute. Sometimes it is rounded up to a full minute.

Airtime minutes are minutes that you are talking on your cell phone. For example, if you are on your phone for 5 minutes that is 5 airtime minutes. You might be on the phone for 5 minutes and 5 seconds, and in that case, phone companies round up to the nearest minute, so that would be 6 airtime minutes.

Airtime minutes include calls placed or received (except family-friend-faves plans) and when using the internet (except data plan). Minutes aren't used to call wireless provider or voicemail.
