Pediatricians generally keep regular office hours eight or nine hours a day. They are also on call for emergencies, and frequently make hospital visits outside of regular office hours.

Usually the hours that a pediatrician works depends on the job that they take and if they are working for themselves or not.

If you work in a private practice they would be similar to a normal office - 9 to 5. If you work in a hospital it depends on the rotation.
