There are many small mammals that make underground dens. which are:rabbits,skunks,mice,woodchucks,arctic ground squirrels,chipmunks,weasel,river otter,Raccoon,muskrat,mink,beavers,opossum,moles,rats,groundhogs,these are just some of the mammals that make underground dens. Then there are larger animals that make dens to which are the fox,deer,bears and wolves. There are other kinds of animals that make underground dens also like: spiders,snakes and desert frogs.

Rodents make underground dens, hares, foxes and wolfs make underground dens for their young. I believe Mice also make underground holes to live in, as well as badgers. I believe some snakes do as well.
