Were there a lot of political cartoons about George H. Bush?

I don't remember seeing very many.

There were quite a few political cartoons about George H. w. Bush. The political cartoons that are carried in your newspaper and at the discretion of the editors of the paper itself if the political cartoons are syndicated. Some newspapers have in-house cartoonists which provide the majority of political cartoons to the newspaper.

Yes, particularly after he unveiled his "read my lips" anti-taxing campaign. It was different for him than, say, Reagan, because the political climate -- at least internationally -- was changing so rapidly. It would make sense that cartoonists took more liberties with Bush than Reagan.
