war

Question by  spack (19)

To what extent does the war on terrorism represent a break with previous United States foreign and defense policies?

I do not understand the changes since this war began.

The war on terror is different in that the US is fighting a non state entity. The US in the past fought enemy states and developed policies where force or the threat of force was employed to bring about peace. In the terror war the goal is to destroy or disrupt the terror network to render it impotent.

The war on terror does not define an enemy so therefore the war was designed to go on forever so that rich men can get richer. The idea is not to win the war, just sustain it. The war industry is very profitable for a very few select people.

I forgot this part, the US only invades "Terrorist" nations that have oil, or where there was no central bank, 2 countries that did not have central banks prior to invading them were Afghanistan and Iraq, they now have them. Follow the money and the oil.  add a comment
