Cucumbers should not be fed to s slider turtle in large quantities but it is ok to give them one every now and then for a treat. They have high water content which will give them diarrhea if you feed them to much of it.

It is fine to feed your slider turtle a cucumber every now and then but never consistently or regularly because cucumbers may cause your turtle to get diarrhea. You may feed your slider a cucumber as a treat occasionally but never a lot of cucumber at one feeding.

Sliders turtles eat vegetation and are able to eat cucmbers; however, it is best to keep their intake of cucmubers to a minimum. Baby sliders should eat a diet more meat related like earthworms, crickets and snails while adults thrive on a vegetation diet.

We can feed cucumber to slider turtles. But we have to give them in rare occasion, because strawberries, cucumbers and grapes etc have rich water which is bad for turtles if provided regularly. We can provide dark leafy green like kale, water crest and edible water plants. Slider turtles will love to eat potato, pumpkin and bell pepper.

Nothing is wrong with feeding the turtle cucumbers. Turtles like vegetables and it won't hurt him at all to eat them.
