Should my 2nd degree burns on my hand tingle and throb a week after I burned it?

I also noticed it is more at night... my knee does the same throbbing. It really hurts!

You didn't say if it is the right or left hand that was injured. Tingling in the right hand and knee throbbing after a week is not serious. The left hand and a knee is a different message altogether. This is a strong indicator that you are on the verge of a massive heart attack.

The symptoms described are probably from two different problems. Tingling and throbbing occur when the blood is infused to an area that has been injured or is inflamed as in arthritis. The throbbing may be similar in type, but the cause is similar in nature. Cooling the area with an ice pack for 10 minutes should temporarily releive the pain

Yes, a second degree burn will most likely still tingle and throb after only a week. It takes a while for your body to repair the damage of the burn. Most people tend to notice injuries more at night for the simple fact you aren't distracted by the bustle of daily life then. Not sure about the knee though.
