If impatiens get too much nitrogen they will not produce as many flowers. Fertilizer such as 0-10-10 is recommended for them.

Impatiens are the easiest plants to grow. They grow well in moist but not wet soil. When planting, use a slow released fertilizer or monthly use a balanced fertilizer.

Absolutely. A basic flower fertilizer by MiracleGro is the best for them; apply on moist to dry soil around base of flowers; apply every 3 months.

Yes, you should fertilize impatiens. Be careful to use a weak fertilizer with a high middle number and put it in the ground and not on the leaves.
